What's the high density tungsten alloy material?

What is tungsten alloy?
Tungsten alloy is a type of alloy composed mainly of tungsten, with a small amount of nickel, copper, iron, cobalt, molybdenum, chromium and other metal binders added. This alloy material is also known as high-density tungsten alloy, which has high density, good ductility, high temperature corrosion resistance and other characteristics. The density range of tungsten alloy is 16.75g/cm ³ to 18.75g/cm ³, and the tungsten content is usually between 88% W and 97% W. According to different product applications and working environment requirements, tungsten alloys can add some rare metal elements (such as Co, Mo, Cr, etc.) to improve some of the product's properties, such as hardness, ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, etc. ‌

The application of tungsten alloy is very extensive, including but not limited to defense counterweights. It is also used in civilian industries for automobile counterweights, ship matching weights, sports equipment counterweights, etc. In the medical industry, tungsten alloy can be processed into medical shielding components and other parts. ‌
